Complete Opening Day Recap
Opening day has come and passed, and we have seen every teams play their first game. We noticed some history, we saw some injury, and we finally got to see some prospects. We also saw a ton of players around the MLB who took a knee in support of the BLM movement and the fight against systemic racism. Sidebar, the best thing I heard the last couple days was the sound of an HR in an empty park. Man, it's pretty. The first pitch of the season, as we know, was thrown by Dr. Anthony Fauci. That went a bit sideways; you could say as it was way off the plate. But the rest of that game was exciting. The game was delayed by rain and then continues. We then saw the first HR by a DH in a game where there was a universal DH; Giancarlo Stanton did this. The Nationals were without Juan Soto for the series after a positive COVID test. The Yankees ended up winning this game. The battle on the mound was great; Cole had 1ER and 5K, Scherzer had 4ER and 11K. Stanton is my MVP in this one with 3...
