Notice all the negative WAR- They are counting on these guys to rebound enough so they can trade them. But I expect them to hold unto Margevicius and Walker and those they claimed. But don't expect to see Graveman, Hirano and Edaward Jr as Mariners next season

Returning from IL

Mitch Haniger got hurt again and had another surgery which should keep him out for a little bit and really kind of shapes his future role as a platoon with the likes of Rodriguez and Klenic in the near future

Fantasy Impact Players
All the Mariners pieces would be my bench pieces or off waiver adds: Kyle Lewis(OF), Evan White(1B), Marco Gonzalez(SP), Kyle Seager(3B)

Free agents looming aka Trade Chips
Dee Gordon- will be moved by the deadline will not be a Mariner come to the end of 2020 season

Storylines to follow
A lot of Kyle Seager rumors this offseason, but I doubt anything happens
Jerry Dipoto clause in contracts- which means if players who are acquired on one-year deals like Hirano if he gets traded then he gets an incentive. It's kind of like if a prize if he did well enough to get traded.
Mitch Haniger Second Surgery- NO timetable for return

Vegas Projected WIn Total
65.5 Wins last season: 68-94
There are a lot of uncertainties and a lot of consistency issues surrounding these young Mariners who should start the season with one of the youngest rosters in MLB. But i think this team can make the over on their wins and maybe even surprise and go .500.

Bold Predictions
I think Dee Gordon is gone, they extend Kyle Seager to another good contract and they give out more long term extension to Kyle Lewis and others among them.

Fact Check

Through the end of the 2019 season, the franchise has finished with a losing record in 29 of 43 seasons. The Mariners are one of six Major League Baseball teams who have never won a World Series championship and are the only team to have never played in a World Series. They hold the longest playoff drought in all of the four major North American professional sports, having not qualified for the playoffs since their 116-win season in 2001.

Fantasy Impact Players
Fernando Tatis Jr(SS)-30.30 type of player, Manny Machado(3B), Eric Hosmer(1B), Chris Paddack(p), Kirby Yates(CP)

Vegas Win Total
82.5 wins
My projection for this team is that is will easily be over 500 for the year and finish most likey 3rd in the division. But shy of the playoffs

Bold Predictions
Fernando Tatis Jr-NL MVP frontrunner

Fact Check

The Padres are the only MLB team that does not share its city with another franchise in the four major American professional sports leagues. The Padres are the only major professional sports franchise to be located in San Diego, following the relocation of the Chargers to Los Angeles in 2017.
They are also the only franchise in the MLB not to have a no-hitter, having gone 8020 games without throwing one, a major league record to begin a franchise.
