Storylines to Follow

Rebound candidates in Dallas Keuchel, Daniel Plaka, Impact on all the new talent
Luis Robert- such an exciting player. Great defense an excellent power bat and just an overall superstar in the making
Nick Madrigal- will get an extended look in spring and could break camp as the 2B

Vegas Projected Wins
83.5Win- last season 79
This team on paper is the most improved team and the darkest of horses for the WS. They have a shot. They have a great roster with a lot of established talent. I mean I see they added like 7 wins in free agency and that puts them at 86. I think they hit 90

Bold Predictions
This is the most improved team and will win the division and then who knows how far they go in the playoffs. I really think they are a possible 90 win team in a 162 game season. I do see the moving upwards in Power Rankings and in relevance over the next few years.

NL Central Team: Chicago Cubs

Fact Check
Mordecai “Three-Finger” Brown had only three full fingers on his pitching hand and finished his career with 1375 strikeouts and a 2.06 ERA. Not to mention this guy was a switch-hitter too, which is quite unique, especially for a pitcher… without a fully limbed hand.
He was actually one of only four people to have earned Rookie of the Year and an MVP Honor in back-to-back seasons. Bryant joins Cal Ripken Jr. (1982-1983), Ryan Howard (2005-2006), and Dustin Pedroia (2007-2008) for this unique accomplishment. During the 2016 season, Bryant earned 29 out of the 30 first-place votes from the BBWAA for the National League MVP Award.

Kris Bryant trade rumors
Rizzo gets the nod as the leadoff man- this idea worked out pretty well for the Cubs and Rizzo last season. With him going into a year where they need to decide on his 16.5mil option. The more value he can show, the better for the club option

Vegas Projected Wins
86.5 projected 84 wins last season

As of now, the cubs are projected to win the division. BUT I do think they have the best lineup in baseball and a solid rotation. But, it could be argued that this team is the best offensive team in the NL. I think if all goes to plan, everyone stays healthy they are in 2nd place and get a WC

Bold Predictions

I think that if the offer is right for Bryant he gets traded. BUT Rizzo is going to be an MVP front runner. Don't forget about Javi Baez as a superstar!
